You have the option to join our local community groups (locations may be limited) as well as be part of our online community, through Facebook.

Location is not an issue as we live stream each weeks content through a private group so you can watch it anywhere in the world and play it back at any time!

We believe, and have proven with science, that restricting or banning foods leads to a negative relationship with food and increases binging.

EDUCATION AND MODERATION

We have an EDUCATIONAL LAYER that all other diets lack. Each week, in the meetings, we teach the you about a specific topic of nutrition or exercise. For example, protein, fats, carbs, sleep, stress, cardio, resistant training etc 

This way, we are confident people can finally UNDERSTAND food better and remove the fear of it. You will end up easily and simply learning more about nutrition than most personal trainers in gyms.

TRAIN YOUR MIND TO EMPOWER, NOT DEVOUR

Our mind can be our greatest asset but also our biggest downfall. It all boils down to how we choose to think and feel about things. Emotions, thoughts and behaviours influence each other and at 80/20 our psychotherapists teach you how to turn your mind into the most powerful positive tool ever.

The key to stopping the yo-yo pattern is to re-program how we think and act. The first thing we need to do is learn to love ourselves a little better and at 80/20 you’ll never look back!

WE MEET IN PERSON AND ALSO PRIVATELY ON FACEBOOK

There are two ways to join in with the 80/20 community and watch the live sessions - either in person at a specific location, or online through Facebook.

We stream all sessions privately through Facebook, so it doesn’t matter if you live locally or anywhere in the world, you can join our fantastic program. If you are local to one of our meetings, then great, come along and meet some new friends and like minded people on the same journey as you.

THE ONLY PLAN AROUND WHERE NOTHING IS BANNED

Science, and real world behaviour, shows us that when we restrict ourselves from things we like or want, then we just end up binging on it later down the line. This can lead to really negative emotions and disorders.

Our moto is simple - 80% of our diet should be nutritious foods. 20% of our diet should be foods we enjoy and often consider banned. This limits binging and allows for zero stress about food. Easy huh ;-)

"I can honestly say I loved every minute of the 80:20 Fitness programme, it gave me a real sense of purpose, every day I woke up feeling happy and motivated and looking forward to the day ahead. At no point did I ever feel deprived of anything, rather the opposite, I ate more than I have ever done and enjoyed a real sense of belonging and community with everyone on the course, what a lovely bunch !!!!

Probably the most significant realisation for me was to work out how little protein I was eating in my every day diet (probably less than 5% a day) and by cutting down on the carbs, all of my cravings have gone and I no longer feel the constant need to 'graze' on empty carbs! Food has taken less importance in my life, I don't think about it as much and it isn't such a big deal for me for me anymore. I still struggle to eat the amount of protein recommended by Dan (around 30% of my diet), especially as I don't like eating animal protein much but I have found other alternatives which I try as much as possible to incorporate into my every day diet. Although I have never been a binge eater and never hugely overweight, I feel so much more in control of my life and liberated , I love eating healthily and how good it makes me feel. Now the programme has finished I don't obsess over every point I eat or try and count everything but I am able to maintain a healthy balanced diet and feel much better for it.

I like the way that Dan and his team use the educational aspect to the fitness programme, I often ask myself ; how did I get to my age (mid fifties) and not know the things we learned on the programme? Dan turns everything you think you know about food and (and I have to say I thought I knew more than most!!- obviously not) . Each week was a revelation and a pleasure to learn, now the programme is over I really miss the learning and the challenges set. I also miss the sense of community we created together. The other ladies on the course were such fun ! Dan highlighted the importance of community but I never expected to meet such lovely people and what an absolute laugh we had every week ! I do miss those lovely girls ! 

Dan delivered the programme very well, he is so interesting and motivational, more than anything else Dan is sincere and passionate about what he does, he really believes in what he does. Dan has a truly lovely team of people around him, you can see how well they work together and complement each other. The relationship between Dan and Nikki was a joy to see in how much they shared and supported each other. Nikki was also inspirational, practice what you preach, she really did, what a journey she has been on and how much she helped us all looking at the psychological issues we all need to address ! Kirstie was an absolute sweetie, always quietly there supporting the group, Hannah too is also a lovely person. Thank you all for everything you have done for us, we are all so grateful to have been part of such a wonderful opportunity and experience!"
